I don’t understand why people watch the episodes and comment on how offensive this part or that is… Why watch the show if your going to get offended.. It’s family guy, not unlike south park it’s ‘offensive’ to get your attention.
because we have to watch them before we know its going to be offensive, tosspot. was a bit offensive, is the only thing I dont like about an otherwise quality programme; there is a tendency towards simplistic, stupidly extreme and highly innacurate racial humour that does’nt feel like its a poke purely at the existence of such idiotic stereotypes. In this episode, it seems like the makers really believe english people all talk, act and look like that in some way. well, maybe in the home counties (occasionally), but nowhere else!

I am actually German. However I have lived in the US and I'm currently living in London for a little over a year. Even though my English is close to native, I sill have big problems understanding the a lot of English people.
In the US there are a few weird accents like every country has, but you can easily understand them. Once you go to the North of England (or even to Scotland), I feel like I'm in China, without understanding a single word.
