The best “Family Guy” episodes represent a perfect balance between a waggish story islanded with cultural references and a small number of jokes thrown in to create a stir. No ethnic group or other minority imaginable manages to get off “scot-free”. The show it’s meant to be universally politically incorrect.
“Bill and Peter’s Bogus Journey” is a screamingly funny parody of Bill Clinton, made by the book… without turning to personal attacks. Putting political jokes aside, there are a few brilliant and original moments in this season, like Jillian’s apparition, Brian’s new girlfriend… portrayed by Drew Barrymore. The giant chicken comebacks and appears in “No Chris Left Behind” and “Meet the Quagmires” offering us the longest and most elaborate battle.
