    FG isn’t on a downward spiral – it’s already piled into the ground. Season 7 has been mostly unwatchable and god-awful. It’s just recycled jokes & shtick that isn’t funny: come ‘on – 3 ENTIRE minutes of Conway Twitty – something they’ve already DONE? Sure beats writing funny scenes! And umpteen reps of “Bird is the Word” – an already obnoxious song? It’s just hostile. And didya notice: EVERYONE understands Stewie now – not just Brian! Any charm is gone. Seasons 1-6 were breathtakingly funny, but I’ve never seen a show fall into the crapper so fast. Wouldn’t be surprised if it were canceled soon.

    worst epp yet. I mean, the music thing for 5 minutes was a joke and it was boring as hell with no story line. the main story changed twice within the epp!

    i can’t believe you guys are actually crying about the dead baby jokes. ffs, it’s just a damn cartoon, no one died, and all of it was made in the name of laughter. sure, some of you might not have found it funny, but humour is different from person to person. and i don’t thing family guy is going down, but you can’t expect each episode to be as funny as the last one. try to keep an open mind people.

    WRONG! they can’t understand him. they can only hear him, but not understand what he is saying. watch the episodes more carefully.

    Disagree strongly, with comments suggesting ‘family guy has walked over the line’- that’s part of its appeal, the humor can be questionable but at least the writers continue to be gutsy rather than politically correct. However It’s clear through this episode that the writers are not only arrogant but self righteous- Conway Twitty for over a minute? Boring episode. Everything has its shelf life- Perhaps Family Guy should die gracefully. Many of the jokes- such as Peters references to the past now seem somewhat- old hat.

    kathy b get a f***ing sense of humour everyone i know loves the bird is the word episode and yeah ok maybe the conway twittie thing goes on to long but how about skipping it??? if you dnt like it that much then try watching something that is funny to people like you with a lower understanding of comedy.
    and to all you others this episode has plenty of funny bits for example
    stewie as a football
    stewie on the roof
    lois fake death
    pillow fight – real fight
    etc.

    That was homo, Conway Titty or whatever is so retarded and used up, im going to watch a better show like South Park or The Simpsons at least they don’t use such obvious and boring fillers that lead away from the story line like Family Guy does EVERY EPISODE!

    This whole season has gone down hill. I was watching some season 1 and 2 fam guy the other day and realised how much cleverer and funnier it was.

    I am really pissed off with season 7 and six wasn’t that great either.

    fam guy is loosing it’s touch. There running out of good content shown by the fact off that 5 min twitty clip.

    conway twitty ruined this episode, it’s f***ing boring and like 3 minutes long. Other than that, they had some funny scenes; “I thought if I shook him enough he’d stop crying… I was kinda right” XD that was awesome, and the end rocked too… I really hate conway twitty

    Maybe some people didn’t get the satirical point being made with Conway Twitty. The creators are essentially taking a dig at Fox and pushing the boundaries of what they can get away with. Family Guy is on during primetime, it costs the network a lot of money and they are wasting airtime with a bad variety show clip no one really wants to watch. They found it funny they could get away with it. From that perspective I think it’s pretty darn amusing that they did.

    God. If you don’t like it, don’t watch. It’s an easy rule, but hard to remember by everyone on here for some reason. If you hate it so much, go make your own best-selling, award winning cartoon with 8 season, or go chat with Seth MacFarlane about it, and stop whining on the internet.

    i only red a few and family guy has not gon bat all of there jikes are in good tast and if you dont like them then stop whatching rode to germony was a brilent episode i wud not expect americans to understand it as just about every nation in the world knows that you dont have the best of reputations when it comes to knowing anything at all im not saying that all americans are stuped befor you accuse me of doing so i know that alot of you are edgucated to a resinabel standord and befor someone mocks my spelling as some sort of cheap atempt of an insulting retaleation i have only ever lerned very bacic spelling(and not very well)as most of my time is school what baiced on maths(not math becauce that is an americanisum)and science any way im just saying in england we consider american humer vary basic and surgest you whatch a real britich comedy(not stuff like train spotters as that was made with americans in mind)such as shun of the dead and hot fuzz and now being british and all it is only polite to thank you for reading

      James. I live in Wales; I have friends in England and in Scotland. I just want to say, that you are so wrong, British people LOVE Family Guy. And although I also am a fan of Simon Pegg films and Spaced, our comedy is far from sophisticated. As a Family Guy 'cutout' point's out. Two Englishmen, reading papers, smoking pipes; one says to the other… I say, do you know what we English find immensely funny… a man in women’s clothing… ripping good laugh. There’s also many a Benny Hill bit. If anything, our fear to directly reference anything of any importance leaves us with little more that fart jokes. Don’t knock American comedy; it’s some of the best in the world.

    And finally… you all need to relax. One of the great things about Family Guy, the reason why so many people love it, is because the broad range of humour types and references means there's something for everyone. So stop with the Mary Whitehouse censor obsession, and stop with the outright attacks of people who are a little more sensitive than us, and just enjoy whatever you find funny. And if you just plain don't find it funny, try buggering off and finding something else to watch.

    I do have to say one thing i love family guy i think its hilarious but sometimes it does cross the line for instance in the earlier series peter was talking about his “other family” that Other family thing was a sort of cult one of them got invited to a womans birthday and he took his “other family” they killed the woman cut her open and pulled the baby she was carrying out and wrote whore and slut with it all over the walls That is crossing the line

    Haha yeah they’ve mentioned the OJ incident a few times:
    In one episode, Peter does kill Ray and Nicole in an old flashback when Lois says he has a habit of ruining people’s lives (or something like that)
    In another episode, Stewie says “this is a bad idea… and I know something about bad ideas”, and it flashes back to him drunk in a bar with OJ, telling OJ that his wife is cheating on her and that he should do something about it. We then see OJ leave and infer that that’s when he went to kill his wife
