    Couldnt agree more damn family guy sucks since season 8.. i just stopped watching brian writes a bestseller after 10 minutes because it sucked so much. I cant believe that this still is one of the most watched shows i hope that will change soon and maybe the episodes will get better from that point on. And cleveland show and american dad have to be canceled so that all attention goes to family. I rather have 1 fcking funny show than 3 mediocre, if not bad shows. I can’t believe that Seth McFarlane approves this.. he only thinks about more show = more money. The only reasons that family guy still has a lot of viewers is because people hope that itll turn better at a time, some people are too stupid to see that the last two seasons are way worse than before(seriously watch a random episode from season 8-9 and a random episode from season 1-7!! the worst episode from season 1-7 is better than the best episode from season 8-9) and the last reason is that critics still praise family guy just because its more political correct(which is the worst change of all).

    I’m sorry, but even for Family Guy standards, this was far too violent for my taste. The humour was far too dark even if it was trying to make a point, and there were parts that really weren’t needed.
    I didn’t need to see a family being “accidently” murdered in front of their child on Christmas Eve night, even if it was supposed to be funny. It wasn’t. There was absolutely no need for that.
    I also really could have gone without watching the reindeer eat each other alive, or seeing Stewie saw off that elf’s arm.
    Yes, there’s the message that we all need to stop asking for so much, but honestly, why couldn’t Seth McFarlane say that in a less disturbing manner? This is early Tim Burton material.
    I was watching this (admittedly out-of-season) with hopes of having the good laugh I’ve unfailingly received from Family Guy for eight seasons, but after sticking it out to the end, I’m just left feeling deeply disturbed and a little sick.
    I didn’t laugh once during this, and because of the delivery I’m even finding it difficult to appreciate the moral.
    Wow, Seth. Just wow.

    This episoide was funny but restriced because it was a XMAS SPECIAL theres not mutch they can do. sure it was a bit sad . even my self felt shocked that the santas litttle helpers where inbreeds and the part where stuwie (the baby) cut off the elfs arm was just sad and gross but most of it was funny and remember its family guy its gross and they needed to put there own little gross twist to make it a family gut episode so you shouldnt stop watchin it after 1 mean episosde i meen you made it this far.

    Generally, I find the “road to the…” type episodes a bit mediocre and formulaic. However, this is one of the episodes of this type that I would watch again.
    The problem with a lot of the newer FG episodes is the producers have given in to critisisms from TV Critics who say FG needs more coherent storylines and less random stupididy – which is BS and is ruining the episodes. Maybe they could cancel The Cleveland Show and bring more people back to making FG better again.
